Classes run Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 5pm @ £20 per session. 
We explore oils with a bit of acrylic, charcoal, cold wax and texture paste thrown into the mix.
I will take you through colour mixing.
Preparation of canvas for painting with a wash in oils or acrylic, and drawing in paint or pencil, the gridding up technique or tracing of subjects. 
How to apply paint for blocking in / scumble, direct painting and impasto.
Palette knife techniques.
Brush handling and the cleaning of brushes.
Glazing and Varnishing.
We will experiment with still life, landscape, seascape, birds, animals, an abstract, a portrait or a pet portrait and anything else we are inspired to do!! Or if you have a project you want to work on please bring it along.
This class is for beginners or more advanced painters, you will all learn new skills and improve your own skill sets.
It is a relaxed friendly environment with tea and biscuits on tap.
